Because of that combination of values, we created our own analytical system to keep your privacy safe. That's right, we handle statistical data within our own system to maximize privacy while delivering a seamlessly stat-driven experience. Likes, views, and impressions create trends on the site, and views and page time shows business owners what events are popular.

If you pay for something through our site, you will be paying through Stripe. Your payment information will be handled on their servers, and stored on their servers. Stripe is a highly popular and reputable payment processing system.

We use site traffic data in the way that makes sense: to show what's popular but not invade privacy.
For Events:
Event Impressions: Every time an event is visible in a calendar or list view an 'impression' is added to that event's impression count. Visible to everyone on the event page.
Event views: Each event has a view count. Visible to everyone on the event page.
Event Likes: Every time an event is liked, a like is added to the event like count. Visible to everyone on the event page.
Total event visit duration: Each event has a total time on page, with each visitor adding to that amount. Visible to us and the event owner.
For Places:
Place Impressions: Every time a place is visible in list view an 'impression' is added to that event's impression count. Visible to everyone on the event page.
Place views: Each place has a view count. Visible to us and the place owner.
Place Likes: Every time a place is liked, a like is added to the place like count. Visible to everyone on the place page.

Trending and Popular places and events are calculated from views, likes, impressions, and time on page. Site visitor data anonymity We log IP addresses and store them internally to determine actions unique to a specific visitor. Data deletion requests
If you wish to delete a user account, write to us and we will remove all traces of you, no questions asked. If you are a site visitor and would like your IP address removed from out stat logs, write to us and we will remove it.
Location privacy
We take photos of locations and try to list every place in a positive light. If you wish to remove a place from our registry we are happy to do so. To minimize any hecklers or tricksters from removing a place that aren't theirs, we will try our best to verify that you are somehow affiliated with the location in question by sending a confirmation code through the contact form on a website, to that business email, or calling.
