The original Woodrow Wilson Bridge opens in 1961 and is named for the 28th president
1999
1999
In 1999 construction on the infrastructure for the replacement Woodrow Wilson bridge begins.
2009
2009
In 2009 the new Woodrow Wilson bridge opens with 12 lane capacity and a vertical clearance of 70 feet. It cost 2.36 billion dollars, coming in 86 million under budget.
