Rocky Guttmann

Rocky Guttmann is a Fredericksburg, VA based solo acoustic guitarist/singer who has entertained audiences for over twenty-five years. He has performed throughout the DC Metro area and beyond, as well as stints in Key West Florida, and even in Denmark. Rocky first thrilled crowds at The Tombs, the legendary Georgetown University pub, in Washington, DC, from 1994 through 1996. He capitalized on this momentum and began performing at hundreds of pubs and clubs in and around DC. It was from this experience that Rocky earned his longstanding reputation as one of the DC area's best and most audience engaging musicians.

Rocky's repertoire includes over a thousand covers from the 40's through the 90's. His catalog includes classic rock, folk, country and many Irish tunes. At the end of 1998 he started at Murphy's Irish Pub in Alexandria VA, where he quickly became the house musician performing five nights a week for twelve months a year. Despite moving to Richmond, Rocky still holds a three to four night residency at Murphy's once a month. In addition, Rocky had similar residencies at Kate's Irish Pub, in Springfield, VA, Ireland's Own Pub in Alexandria, and most recently at Fiona‘s Irish Pub, in Kingtowne, VA. Rocky continues to be one of the DC area's most sought after acoustic acts.
